Dear Basketball Official,
It is that time of year again to register with MTBOA and TSSAA. You will receive your registration card from TSSAA around June 1. Fill out that card, sign it and send it in with your TSSAA registration dues and once again register online with the Arbiter through TSSAA.
You need to print off the attached MTBOA registration form. Fill it out carefully and legibly and send it back to me with your dues by June 1. The registration form must be filled out and send back with the correct amount of dues or your registration will NOT be accepted. You will see that the dues for MTBOA returned to the 2009-2010 level since TSSAA took away the increase that they were going to give last year.. Our dues have been based on the fee received by a person in a three person crew for two varsity games, which TSSAA has not raised for this coming year. Reserve dues have been $15 less than Regular dues. The dues for a Regular are $80.00 and the dues for a Reserve are $65.00. Make sure you make your check or money order payable to MTBOA. DO NOT send cash! You will still pay game fees as in the past: Regulars is a $1.00 per game assignment and Reserves is $1.00 per game assignment.
Remember Regulars that there is a $25 LATE FEE if you have not paid your MTBOA dues by June 1, 2011. Regulars who have not registered with MTBOA by June 1 are subject to being removed from the Regular list and replaced.
Any Reserve official that might be considered to be moved up to the Regular list MUST have their MTBOA dues paid to me by the time of the MTBOA camp at A-Game Sportsplex in
There will no longer be a Special List!
Remember all officials are required to attend the TSSAA state meeting and five regular MTBOA meetings.
Thank you,
David L. Zeigler, MTBOA Sec.-Treas.
